About Us

DoggieArt really started a long time ago and it's taken me years to organize it. I have always loved doing crafts and have always been creative and artistic, and always loved my dogs. So, DoggieArt is a great blend of all of my loves.

My name is Becky Kenlein and I live in Santa Ynez, California (right outside of Santa Barbara). I have two wonderful Yorkie boys, Toby and Elvis, who have inspired me in more ways than I can ever say and we have a beautiful year old girl Yorkie, Priscilla. Toby and Elvis helped me achieve many things, like Yorkiefest and what I consider my biggest acheivement - my move to California from Ohio. The three of us packed up, towed the car, and came 2300 miles to our new home of Santa Barbara, where we lived until we moved to Santa Ynez last year. We love our new home state and are so happy we made the move.

After getting settled in I went to the local hardware store and met the man of my dreams, who I married in January of 2006. Chuck is a wonderful man and loves Toby and Elvis more than I thought possible. We researched breeders and bought Priscilla after we got married. It's fun to watch Chuck with her, since she's really his "first" Yorkie. He adores the boys but Priscilla is his baby girl!

Chuck is also very creative and talented and he has begun a series of new designs and other items that we'll have on DoggieArt very soon. We are really working to make DoggieArt a shop where you can find many unique and wonderful items for yourself and as gifts for friends.
