One of a Kind Sterling Silver and Crystal Chainmaille Bracelet

This is my first Chainmaille bracelet and I'm pleased with how this turned out. I took pictures throughout so I could document the making of this bracelet. It was fun and pretty easy, but definitely time consuming and the work is very detailed.

This is the finished bracelet. It's made with sterling silver jump rings in 7mm, 6mm and 4 mm sizes.

The crystals are Swarsovski 8mm round crystals and these are all AB Crystals, which have a shinier look to them.

I thought the shimmering of the AB Crystals would work well with the silver.

I used a Sterling Silver heart clasp and also added a tiny heart charm near the clasp.

Perfect fit!

Making the Bracelet

I began by weaving the 7mm and 6mm Sterling jump rings into a row. Since these are Sterling and they are small, they are very soft.

I had to be very careful not to damage the jump rings as I used the tools to get them together.

I continue to add rings until I get the length I want for my bracelet.

Once I finished with one chain, I make another chain the exact same length.

Then I begin to attach the two chains together.

I continue adding jump rings until I have one bracelet.

Now both of the chains are linked together and I have one bracelet. I'm ready to put on my clasps and start adding Crystals.

Using Sterling Silver wire, I center a Crystal and make simple wrapped loops on both ends.

Using the jump rings, I attach each Crystal to the bracelet one by one.

I keep adding the Crystals until the bracelet is completed.

Finished.
